Where Is Drain Located On An Inside Air Condition?
Water Is Leaking And I Need To Clean Drain But I Do Not Know Where Drain Is Located
We don't know what type of AC you have. But they're all basically the same. There should be a troth that collects the water and direct it to a drain pipe. You'll have to open the access panel (don't ask me where that is - it's on one of the sides). You may have to clean some dust or mud - depending on whether it's wet or dry.
Also make sure you have a clean air filter. Dirty filters restrict the air flow which can lead to the AC freezing up. Then water can drip from almost anywhere. But most likely the drain is clogged. Also, a dirty filter can begin to allow dirt to pass or be sucked through, which is even more reason to clean (or have your AC cleaned by a professional) - to clean the evaporator coil (the part that gets cold).
Hope this helps.

What Year Was The Air Conditioner Invented?
The term air conditioning refers to the cooling and dehumidification of indoor air for thermal comfort. In a broader sense, the term can refer to any form of cooling, heating, ventilation or disinfection that modifies the condition of air. An air conditioner (AC or A/C in North American English, aircon in British and Australian English) is an appliance, system, or mechanism designed to stabilise the air temperature and humidity within an area (used for cooling as well as heating depending on the air properties at a given time) , typically using a refrigeration cycle but sometimes using evaporation, most commonly for comfort cooling in buildings and transportation vehicles.
The concept of air conditioning is known to have been applied in Ancient Rome, where aqueduct water was circulated through the walls of certain houses to cool them. Similar techniques in medieval Persia involved the use of cisterns and wind towers to cool buildings during the hot season. Modern air conditioning emerged from advances in chemistry during the 19th century, and the first large-scale electrical air conditioning was invented and used in 1902 by Willis Haviland Carrier.
Which Air Conditioning Window Unit It More Efficient To Run?
We Have Two Air Conditioners, One Is An 8,000 Btu The Other Is A 15000 Btu. Each, By Itself, Cools The Whole House, (It'S Very Small) But I Want To Know Which One Is More Energy Efficient To Run. Thanks 🙂
The one that shuts itself off when its cool. Probably the newer one. Some units are either On of Off, but dont have much in between. Some will leave the fan on all the time, and shut the AC part off. The smart ones will shut the whole thing off by itself until it gets warm again, use that one, even if its the 15000 btu one.
If they act the same, look at the wattage used. There should be a sticker somewhere that tells you how many watts it uses. If the 15000 is double the amount the 8000 uses then its a wash, if its less than double then its more efficient, if its more than double then use the 8000.
What Size Wall Air Conditioning Unit Do I Need To Keep My Garage Cool While Working Out There?
Its A Standard 20Ft By 20Ft 2 Car Garage, Is About 70% Finished, Not Sure About Insulation Though. I Plan To Get A Door Insulation Kit. And I Live In A Hot And Humid Gulf Coast Climate. I Just Need Something When I'M Out There For A While To Keep It Bearable, It Gets Up To 90 Degrees In There Now.
I suggest 10K BTU's Anything less will not cool and be a waste of electricity.
A 20 x 20 area in an insulated room requires 6K BTU's you need to add for the fact that it is not insulated +4K BTU's You need to additionally add +1.5K for a door or a window that gets full sun.
Put thermal curtians or blankets on the windows and doors and install a fan to help circulate the air in addition to the airconditioner.
