Additionally, no business would offer a negative reference; only those that are incredibly favorable. None of these are perfect characteristics for consumers looking for completely impartial evaluations and referrals. Frequently Asked Questions:
Is The Kuulaire Portable Air Conditioner Good?
Im Thinking About Buying One For My Small Room. Do You Have One?
Important note: KuulAire doesn't sell air conditioners, they sell evaporative or swamp coolers. You will only get good cooling from one of these in dry climates - if you live in the northeast or the south or anywhere there is a lot of humidity, swamp coolers won't work at all.
However, if you live in the southwest or a desert-like climate, KuulAire is a great brand, with lots of good reviews for all their products:
Baby Sleep Sacks: Fleece Or Cotton For An Air-Conditioned Room?
I'd Like To Buy Some Sleep Sacks (Wearable Blankets) For My Baby Girl (Due Soon) And Am Wondering Whether I Should Go With Fleece Or Cotton. We Live In A Humid And Warm Climate, But Sleep In An Air Conditioned Room. If She Wears A Footed Long Sleeve Stretchie, Wouldn't A Fleece Sleep Sack Be Too Hot? On The Other Hand, Wouldn't Cotton Be Too Cooling And Not Cozy Enough? Ourselves, We Sleep In T-Shirts And With A Comforter, But I Am Not Sure What I Should Do About The Baby.
We live in Palm Springs, California so its pretty hot here all the time, but with my husband being an HVAC installer our house is always NICE and air conditioned 😛
I tried the fleece but I found my bub got a little too warm and the cotton kept him perfect even in the A/C. I think it just has better breathability so it keeps him perfect temperature. Maybe in december when it gets into the high 50s at night the fleece might do ok, but as for now, I find its just a little too warm.

Sources differ on how large a unit you should buy for a room of a given size, and experts say factors such as doors, windows and exposure, and high ceilings all will increase the output capacity (measured in British thermal units, or BTU) you'll need. ConsumerReports.org's sizing estimates are lower than to those of the federal government's Energy Star size chart. We've combined the two to give you a general air conditioner sizing guide. Calculate square footage by multiplying the length by the width of your room.
Climate can also make a major difference, so keep in mind the standard calculations used in these charts are based on summer temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s. If you live in a milder climate, you can save money and energy by buying a less powerful air conditioner. On the other hand, if high temperatures in your area frequently exceed 100 degrees, you may need an air conditioner with about 50 percent higher output. This is especially true in areas with high humidity.
What Pumps Out Of A Air Conditioning Unit? And Is It Bad For You?
Ok. So I Live In Seattle, So 90% Of The Year An Air Conditioning Unit Seems Stupid To Have. But With A 2 Week Heat Wave Coming Though The Area I Purchased One. It Has A Tube That You Stick Out The Window. I Was Wondering What Comes Out Of That Tube? Is It Bad For You? Because There Are Some Small Cracks In Seal Between The Tube And The Window.
lmao. the tube is for condensation, aka water vapor to drip outside instead of in your house. an airconditioning unit works much like a refridgerator. so it you think thats bad. then were all doomed.
Camper/ Rv Air Conditioner Unit Problem?
I Have A Dometic Duotherm Ac Unit. The Ac Is A Took Unit In A 1994 Park Model Cobra By Summit. If I Turn The Ac On By The Wall Thermostat And It Is On Low Cool The Entire Unit Will Not Turn On. In The Center Of The Thermostat Control There Is A Low/ Power Switch, The Center Is A Light That Flashes Red. However, When I Switch The Ac Unit On Medium The Entire Unit Will Turn On. The Ac Compressor Will Kick On, The Fan Blows, And Cold Air Blows Out (The Red Light Does Not Flash During This Time). But, When The Ac Runs For 30 Minutes The Entire Unit Will Shut Off (This Includes The Entire Unit) And Then Automatically Turn Back On. The Unit Will Do This About 4-5 Times And Then Run Again For 30 Minutes And The Whole (Turn On And Off) Happens Again.
Also, If I Run Just The Fan On Low, Medium, Or High Without The Unit Being On Cool (Or Ac) The Unit Will Run Flawlessly. I Am Trying To Find Out What Is Causing This. Could It Be The Start Capacitor Or What Is Causing The Problem? Whatever The Problem Is, How Can I Test It By A Multimeter (By Ohms)? And, What Should The Ohms Read If It Is Good Or Bad?
This Is The Information Provided On It: Dometic Duo Therm - It May Be A Brisk Air Model- For A Park Model Camper.

I have had lots of older trailers the fact that the thing even works at all is a miracle trust me. Keep in mind its going on 20 years old what do you expect? its long last its lifespan of 7 years its old inefficient as hell compared to the new ones and if you fix one thing something else will break. If you want a dependable air conditioner I would look into buying a newer unit and go from there. Another problem with a lot of trailers either park models or Travel Trailers is usually the water heater. If you plan to set it up in a park and not move and the water heater goes bad those park models are some weird expensive size that is three times the price of a regular 30 gallon water heater most homes use. If the trailer is staying put add a small shed and plumb a 30 gallon water heater into the trailer. Or do what we did we had a handy man enlarge the space to fit a 30 gallon electric heater instead of some 1800 dollar 20 gallon rv heater with propane and electric. Another option is an instant on water heater these actually heat only the water you use. And don't reheat warm water over and over and over well you get the idea. do your research thoroughly some brands are better than others. You get what you pay for.
