if your looking for what company would have installed your a/c unit you could contact the distributor in your area that would have supplied that company that product.
get the name brand, model number and serial number of the outdoor unit.
They would have a record of that unit if they sold it and who bought it.
You could also contact the manufacturer, they could tell you the distributor in your area.
They may also have the installers name if the end user registered it.
How Many Square Feet Does A Gas Furnace/Air Conditioning Unit Usually Heat Or Cool?
I Have A Large Home With High Ceilings On The First Flloor.
It depends on how hot or cold it gets where you live.
Like scanjet said, it also depends on the BTU rating of the furnace or ac unit.
Try a google search at http://www.google.com , you might find something online that will calculate how many BTU's are required for your region and your house size. Or call a local heating/ac company.
Found this info by googling on: BTU "square feet"
It doesn't say anything about climate or ceiling height, but you can match your square footage with the table to get a ballpark figure.
Is The Crawl Space The Problem, Or Is It The Baseboard Electric Heat?
About Four Months Ago I Bought A House In Illinois Which Is Heated With Electric Baseboard Heat. Each Room Has Its Own Thermostat, So The Rooms That We Don'T Use Are Set To 55 Degrees. Also, The House Has A Half Basement And Half Crawl Space. The Living Room And Kitchen Are Above The Basement, And The Three Bedrooms Are Above The Crawlspace. The Kitchen Is Equiped With A 900Cfm Range Hood And The Bathroom Has A 50 Cfm Exhaust Fan, Both Are Vented To The Outside To Get Rid Of Moisture. The Drier Is Vented To The Outside As Well, And We Do Not Use Neather A Humidifier Or A Humidifier And The House Has A Working Sump Pump.
About Two Months Ago, My 2 Year Old Doughter Began Coughing As Well As Me. This Happens Mainly At Night. Does Any One Know, If This Is Due To The Fact That The Bedrooms Are Over The Crawlspace? Should I Sell The House? Or Should I Seal The Crawl Spac? Is It Worthed?
Thank You, I'Ll Really Appreciate Your Heap
The electric baseboard heat is probably not the issue, make sure the fins are free of dust and lint etc. What is in the crawlspace? Mold? Nasty stuff? is it damp? Is the Crawlspace insulated? If yes, does the insulation have a paper moisture/vapor barrier on it? If it does is the paper against the sub floor of the house or on the ground side?
The warm air in your house naturally rises and goes through your ceiling into attic space. As it rises it is pulling air up from below. The vapor barrier should be against the sub floor, not towards the ground. If it is towards the ground, moisture finds it's way past the paper in every rip, tear, etc. and gets into the fiberglass were it most likely will harbor mold to grow. What also contributes to the below spaces air being pulled up through the floor is if the attic space isn't properly insulated AND vented. With Gable vents or roof ridge vent, WITH soffit vents helps your heated air stay inside your living spaces.
This winter I have become a fan of warm mist vaporizers, it has made alot of our respiratory problems much better, and it makes the air feel warmer.
I would first evaluate the condition of the crawlspace, insulation, and vapor barrier. If the insulation is funky, installed inproperly, its gotta go and be replaced correctly and with a proper vapor seal.
Please Suggest Me The Brand Of The Foundation Which It As Light As The Air?
Please Suggest Me The Foundation Which It As Light As The Air? But In The Same Time Having The Full-Coverage Power?
Being a professional makeup artist and having tried so many brands and mediums of makeup I really prefer minerals as they look natural. Here is a list based off my experience and expertice..........
1) No to Drugstore brands + AVON, MARY KAY (loreal, maybelline, revlon, neutrogena etc.)........They are loaded with chemicals (including bismuth oxychloride- which is not a mineral but a metal that has been processed with tin and copper, it is well known to cause itching, rash and acne) that can aggravate your skin and break you out. Due to these unneeded chemicals and fillers they also leave your skin looking powdery, cakey, strange and dull and with time will make for an overall unhealthy complexion
2) No to bare escentuals..........this is one company who has waaaay to much hype, most of the time it's from people who have never used anything else so they haven't tried anything better. Bare escentuals uses Bismuth oxychloride which is bad for your skin. (as stated above.) they are also not truthful as they say no preservatives yet they use chemical parabeans in their mineral veil and other formulas. They also use cheap fillers like cornstarch and that is the main ingredient in their mineral veil. Their makeup wears off by midday and looks very greasy and shiny.
There are many great mineral companies out there that do not use bismuth oxychloride, I have chosen the one I use after much research looking for purity, absence of chemicals and preservatives, adhesion(how long it stays on) and overall finish (how it looks on)
I use Faerie Organic Minerals a company based near chicago, I really can't say enough good about it. Heres a few reasons I choose them above others....
1)They are natural, no preservatives, no chemicals, cheap fillers or binders
2)they are good for your skin, they help exsiting skin conditions like acne, roseaca, sensitive skin due to the zinc oxide and boron nitride
3) the ingredients they use are listed on the safety cosmetic database http://cosmeticdatabase.com and rate as very safe for your skin and health
4)their minerals are lightweight, airy, natural looking, blend easily, cover redness, acne etc very well and best of all last all day and leave a dewy glow (most companies lack somewhere in this list)
5)They are more affordable than most mineral brands
6)you can get a free sample kit to try first. It comes with 2 foundations, sheer veil (oil absorber) and bronzer
I am sure I am forgetting some additional pluses but you probably getthe idea. This was my choice based on my experience and expectations. I do recommend getting the free sample kit though. http://www.faerieorganic.com

Can You Recycle The Metal Of An Old Air Condition Unit?
I Have Two 220Volt Air Condition Units That I Can Not Use. Does Anyone Know If They Will Take These At The Scrap Metal Yard? If So Do They Pay Per Pound?
chances are you will not get any money for them ... a couple of people have said to take them apart, DO NOT do this it is technicaly against the law in canada and the us. most scrap yards will not pay for them and some may actually charge for taking them. this is due to the fact that the refrigerant (not called freon , freon is a brand name owned by dupont/honeywell , calling it freon is like calling all shoes Nike you dummies) the refrigerant when reclaimed by the very expensive equipment that is required to do this , although once it is reprocessed , is worth quite a bit if it is r12 (chances are your units use r22 which production is to start to be scaled down in 2010 and be completely phased out by 2020) the problem is it cannot be resold until it has been reprossesed at a chemical recycling facility and the reclaimed refrigerant actually costs the people that are sending to these facilities money to have it recycled and they don't get the refrigerant back. if the units still operate i suggest you either give them away or try to sell them for a small amount of money otherwise do the earth a favour and take them to a scrap yard that will pump the refrigerant out and have it recycled as both r12 and r22 are significant ozone depleting substances and every little bit of help we can give the environment is worth it.
hope that helps...
